• Where does Blackmores source its ingredients from?

  Blackmores works with some of the world’s leading raw material suppliers, going to great lengths to source high-quality ingredients that comply with our strict ingredients policy. Our strategic sourcing team travels the world to ensure we have transparency over the supply chain safeguarding quality and alignment to our sustainability principles.

• Are all Blackmores Products certified HALAL?

  Majority of our products are halal certified. You may refer our product pages which will show halal certificates if product is halal. For those products which does not have halal certificates, please be reassured that our products do not contain any porcine (pork ingredients) and alcohol. We are regularly updating our halal certifications, do check our website regularly. See the full list here.

• Can I take all my supplements together?

  Yes. It is safe to take all the supplements together.

  You may separate some of the supplements (after breakfast, lunch or dinner) if you have a weak stomach (gastric issues), do ensure you take the supplements after meals.

• Can I take my supplements together with medications?

  It is not advisable to take both medications and supplements together. A general rule of thumb will be to leave a gap of at least 2 hours between your medications and supplements to avoid any possible interactions.

• Can pregnant or breastfeeding women take any of Blackmores products?

  Our Pregnancy & Breast-Feeding Gold can be used throughout pregnancy and while breastfeeding to provide essential nutrients for mother and baby's development.

  Not all products are suitable or recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding mothers.

• How does Blackmores ensure the quality of its products?

  Blackmores adheres to the some of the most rigorous safety and quality standards in the world. Each product passes more than 30 rigorous quality tests and checks during all stages of the manufacturing process, prior to being released to market. We retain a sample from every single batch produced for ongoing testing and quality monitoring. Consumers can have confidence that all our products meet our demanding specifications and they are getting the same quality product inside every single bottle.

• How do I know if a Blackmores product is genuine?

  All medicinal products, including health supplements must be registered with the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) before they can be sold or marketed to consumers. Registered medicinal products must carry both Registration numbers (e.g. MAL20125467T) and a Farmatag Hologram label on its label or packaging. The hologram on the bottle is also a sign of authenticity as each bottle of supplement has a unique code which cannot be duplicated. If you are still unsure, you may email [email protected].

• Can I take the supplements in higher or lower doses than what is recommended?

  We strongly recommend that all supplements to be taken according to the label dosage instructions to ensure safety and efficacy because we hold latest research and scientific findings to support these recommended doses. However, for some cases higher doses may be needed.

  Do consult with your health professional for the suitable dosages for your specific condition.

• Can I take Blackmores supplements with tea and coffee?

  It is not recommended to take caffeinated beverage together with supplement as it may affect the absorption of vitamins. It is good to leave a gap of 1 hour before or after drinking tea and coffee with your supplements.
